I hear rumors that Ashley Simpson may have been hit by a surprise pregnancy. According to the report, upon finding out of the pregnancy, Ashley’s boyfriend did the “right thing” and proposed to her backstage right before his New York Live Earth performance last weekend.
UPDATE: Reps for Ashley commented about this reported engagement as “absolutely not true”; however, I didn’t hear any denial of the possible pregnancy.
Jason Priestley, off Beverly Hills, 90210, and his wife Naomi Lowde are expecting. Priestley, 37, and Lowde, 31, met in London in 2004 and got married in May 2005 on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
The child, expected this summer, will be the first to both Priestley and Lowde.

Our rumor patrol has heard (or rather read) Alison Sweeney, Sami on Days of Our Lives is not pregnant. Rumors have started popping up as Sweeney’s character got pregnant on the show and many had attributed it to her being pregnant in real life.
“Of course, because of the storyline, everyone keeps staring at my stomach in scenes and they’re showing Lucas kissing my belly.
How do you not feel all self-conscious like, ‘I don’t look pregnant and I don’t want to look pregnant,‘ ” she said.
Sweeney did admit that she had thoughts of tying the storyline to her real life, “I talked to the producers about trying to get pregnant to tie it in, but everyone pretty much said, ‘That’s a bad idea and inevitably you won’t time it right,’ ” she explains. “They told me to live my life and do what I had to do, but timing it to the story would not be good news.”

Prison Breaks’, Sarah Wayne Callies, is expecting. This is according to an official statement published by her spokeswoman yesterday.
Callies, 29, who portrays Dr. Sara Tancredi on Prison Break, is married to Josh Winterhalt and this would be the couples’ first child.
While Anna Nicole keeps claiming that she has nothing to hide, her attorneys are working overtime for her to avoid the paternity test. With today set as the d-day, Anna’s attorney’s are now focusing on 2 grounds for why she cannot be tested:
1. The Los Angeles Superior Court order is not binding at the Bahamas until a Bahamian judge gives it a stamp of approval.
2. The United States DNA lab hired by Larry Birkhead, the man claiming to be the father of little Dannielynn, cannot legally administer the test because its technicians don’t have work permits for the Bahamas.
I doubt any of these will hold, and even then, if she has nothing to hide, why pay all these fees and go through all this pain in the arse and attorney fees just to avoid the test?
